Well, I've been doing some DIY projects around the house.

• We painted the upstairs hall and stairwell a pale yellow.
• I've painted the downstairs bathroom red.
• I painted the living and dining room a light brown.
• We bought new dining room chairs which I reupholstered the cushions from an off white to a nice navy blue with a striped pattern.

Kevin's worried I won't finish everything before Squiggly comes. I still need to paint the kitchen (green), the upstairs' bathrooms (gray and white), clean out the garage, install new floor in the downstairs' room and paint, and crown molding everywhere. Not to mention Squiggly's room. He's probably right. Well, I'll just have to prioritize. =)

I finished the floors in the downstairs bonus room and painted the walls a cheery yellow to brighten up the room. I still need to finish up the quarter-round molding and transition pieces. We replaced the light switches so that they matched the rest of the house. But it was a big pain! The wall outlets were much easier to replace.

I'm still at a lost on what to do so that Kevin can get internet access in that room. I don't know where to move the cable modem, or buy a new one.

Squiggly's room is still a disaster. Most of the stuff needs to move downstairs to the bonus room. But I'm not sure what to do in terms of decorating her room. I don't feel like painting it some bright color or getting a mural done. I really wanted to get the crown molding done in such a manner that we could run LEDs lights and create some recess light and have that controlled with a dimmer switch. But I'm not good with electrical and Kevin thinks it will cost a lot to get the electrical done.
