Happy anniversary to us! It's been thirteen years since we started dating. Yay!

We both had a great time at the shower. It was great to see everyone again. We wanted to thank Chrissy and Mike for generously hosting the party, Alicia and Chrissy for planning the shower and Anita and David for all the help that they provided.

Thank you all for the nifty gifties. I have no idea where we are going to put everything.

Dec. 6, 2005

We went to the doctor today and my blood pressure is normal again. Yay! No bed rest for me. Kevin said "please, finish cleaning the house." Unfortunately, I've started cooking X-mas presents, but I'll do my best. Alle is being the biggest distraction by being so cute that I just want to be with her all day.

We went to see White Christmas tonight. It was good. Squiggly seemed to be the most awake out of the three of us. She squirmed the whole play long. I think she likes musicals.

Kevin and I took a tour of Cedars-Sinai. I read about the Deluxe Maternity Suites, but we actually got to see them. I told Kevin that they were more for him than for me and after see them he totally agreed. There are one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom suites. It's kind of a misnomer. The one-bedroom had the room with the hospital bed and separate room with a couch, tv and refrigerator and one bathroom. The two-bedroom suite is like have two of the regular hospital room joined together and a shared bathroom. The three-bedroom suite has two separate entrances and two bathrooms, so that your security guards have their own room and bathroom, at least that's what the nurse said. We didn't get to see that suite since it was in use. Now, I really know why all those celebrities give birth at Cedars. =) All the suites come with a after-birth doula and the baby can stay in the room the whole time.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We had a great time with Kevin's family. Kevin's mom thinks Squiggly's coming early. The doctor said she has moved and is head down now, so early is a possibility. My ankles have been swelling a little, so I've been sleeping with my feet up. Unfortunately, I seem to also have high blood pressure, so we have to go back next week and have it checked again. It could have been because I was going to get a flu shot, but who knows? Squiggly seems to be fine though because she's very active and squirms a lot. (It tickles!)

I've been reading Squiggly the Harry Potter books. So when we went to see the newest Harry Potter movie on Saturday, she was kicking a lot. She also kicked a lot during Rent. I listen to Rent in the car so she heard that a lot, too. She seemed to like Roger's and Mimi's voices the best. I don't know why, Jesse L. Martin has the best singing voice, Tom Collins' character. Maybe she's just used to me singing those songs.

I heard that people got invitations to our baby shower. I'm not sure if everyone knows, but it's a co-ed shower. We just really wanted a chance to get to see everybody we haven't see in a while. So, you guys(males) are invited, too. I'm not into baby games so I'll try to keep them at a minimum. People are asking where we are registered. We registered the bulk of the items at Babies 'r Us and a handful of items at Target.
